Chinese Tips
Use the open information — trace where each suit's King, Queen, and Jack sit before your first move. Group moves let you carry junk cards around, but every mixed stack must eventually be unpicked, so favour moves that untangle suits rather than relocate problems. Keep at least one column close to empty for Kings, and time the three reserve cards for when they unlock a blocked suit rather than dealing them on reflex.

Is Chinese Solitaire easier than Scorpion?
Somewhat — with no hidden cards, you can plan the entire game and avoid the nasty surprises that end many Scorpion games. Win rates run around 40-50% with careful play versus 30-40% for standard Scorpion. The trade-off is that losses feel worse: with everything visible, every defeat was preventable.
